Friends, we often hear folks say that we don't sell our best ones. The fact is that we sell the best horses offered by any CS breeding farm in the world. Sometimes, though not often, we do offer finished horses. Here are two of the best finished horses we have ever offered for sale, one bred by Karma Farms and owned by the Christensen family and one belonging to our friend Tanja Hamilton. And have a close look at Torchwood--if ever a colt deserved to me someone's stallion, here he is.

PLEASE don't expect to dicker on these. We reserve the right to refuse to sell any of these if we don't find the right buyers who are capable of going on with a horse that deserves to be in the public eye. Ask if you want different shots or wish to see the full resolution version. I kept these pics fairly small to save download time.

Our super select sale includes:

T.H. Mouse leaps the brushpile in Backfiring the Priairie at the AIHR/HOA National Show.T.H. Mouse--8 year old grullo gelding. Mouse has competed in shows, speed events, cowboy trail challenges, team penning and just about everything you can do with a Colonial Spanish Horse. And he wins at all of it. Mouse has been AIHR National Champion at Halter and National Overall Show Champion. He has done numerous other events including placing high in all breed trail challenges, and lots of pleasure camp-outs and trail rides with owner Tanja. In 2008 Mouse placed third overall after making the finals in a very large Cowboy Challenge field of over 100 horses. He is an easy keeper, has great feet, is sound as a dollar and ready to win for you right now. It would be hard to find a horse of any breed that was nicer to get along with and easier to take care of. Call me at (903) 407-0298 or Tanja at work at (903) 935-1902, and be sure and tell her you saw Mouse advertised on the Karma Farms site. $10,000.

Baby Driver descends a hill at the last chance at the OK Corral CTR.

Baby Driver, 6 year old grullo gelding by Building A Mystery (Rowdy Yates/Liona) out of Margerita (Broom/Pie), the dam of Fernando, America's Most Decorated Colonial Spanish Horse or Spanish Mustang. "Driver" has been winning since he was still green, racking up wins in Foothills IH shows in South Carolina, and Tejas IH Shows in Texas including lots of placings at the National the last two years. We'll have to make owner Laura Christensen make us a list of all the stuff Driver has collected in his short career. He is easily BAM's "winningest" foal so far, and his story has only begun to be told. He has completed in 7 NATRC rides in Region 4 and has spent 2009 competing in the Open Lightweight division. He is sound as a dollar and right as rain and in condition now to do the fall rides for you. This one has plenty of energy and drive for endurance of that is your sport. Tommi has spent most of this season just getting him in hand to perform quietly. Driver is well named--his nature is to GO, Go,Go. But he will stand to mount, handles the best, catches anywhere with a bucket or treat, and now he's doing a super job of controlling his enthusiasm and walking and trotting quietly when asked to do so. But if he is run hard and "cowboyed around", he'll be "too hot to handle" for most riders. Driver needs a competent and intelligent rider who wants the best and has the riding skills to enjoy this exceptional horse. He is gentle and easy to ride, but not for beginners at all because if you DO ask this guy to go, you'll have all the horse you can stand. Tommi and I both love to ride him, and if you like a horse that ready to go when you lift the reins, this one is for you. $5000.

Head shot of Torchwood showing eye colorTorchwood--2009 CHAMPAGNE colt by Tambourine Man (Choctaw Sun Dance/Kiowa Morning Song) out of Meet Virginia (Rowdy Yates/Buck's Girl). Just have a look at this color and great Choctaw and Cap Yates brains to boot. Now throw in the great Rowdy Yates as maternal grandsire, Choctaw Sun Dance as paternal grandsire plus two granddams (Kiowa Morning Song and Buck's Girl) with enviable records of their own . Both Torch's parents are very proven. Tambourine Man has several well-known NATRC winners including Rambler and Gustavo Moon. No one who keeps up with the AIHR/HOA National Show needs an introduction to Meet Virgina. "Virgie" has been National Champion Aged Mare at Halter as well as lots of performance wins both in TX and SC. In fact, this lovely little mare won the buckle for most points accumulated at the SE Regional and the National in 2008. A look at how he's growing in these shots as he has aged this spring will give you some idea of the size and imposing look of this exceptional colt. This one really needs to stand somewhere. $2000.
