3) Tambourine Man (AIHR O-, SSMA #990, HOA pending)--17 year old champagne overo stallion foaled 4/24/89 by Choctaw Sun Dance out of SSMA foundation mare Kiowa Morning Song. Big fellow, paso-gaited, wonderful look, gentle temperament. Stood at Blazing Saddles Ranch until summer 2001. Bred by Karma Farms. Owned by Karma Farms and T-P Ranch. Rides, easy to handle, WONDERFUL color and gait. This horse looks much as we imagine the real Hidalgo looked. "Tam" had TWO NATRC winners in 2005 including Region 4 Novice Horse of the Year. This stallion is producing trainablity and gait just like his sire. SMR's first Grande Conquistador to Grande Conquistador mating. "Bam" is well broke, loves people. Most of his foals so far are solid grulla.
