Polydactyl cats are a natural mutation of the domestic feline. Sometimes called "Hemingway cats", "mitten cats" and even "cats with thumbs", these fancy felines have been around since Colonial times when they are supposed to have arrived on the North American continent on merchant sailing ships. Today it is said that in the US, 1 in every 1000 cat births is a poly. These unique and special cats are loved by many and have been for generations. Some interesting myths and tales have grown up around these digitally enhanced kiitties.
Here is Sasquatch of Karma, our foundation sire of the line of polydactyl cats which our farm has had since 1981. He was a great pet and a fabulous hunter, and he made poly cat fans out of my whole family. Many of our Karma Kats still trace to 'Squatch.
And here is Athena of Karma, one of our star performers today. Athena does a whole trick routine including jumping through tthe hoop, walking her balancing beam, speaking, sitting up and a 5 gallon bucket trick you won't believe. It's easy to train a smart, affectionate Karma Kat like Athena.

We also list polys for other breeders around the US on our sale page.
MISSING KARMA KATS!! These will be Moth's last litter as both he, Zircon and Leta vanished in October 2008. It could be due to coyote predation, but we strongly suspect the two-legged variety of predators since ONLY breeding stock was taken. If anyone reading this page sees or hears of ANY poly cats being offered as adult Karma Kats, PLEASE let us know. Moth, Zirc and Leta were our very good friends as well as wonderful parents of Karma Kittens. Leta was the ONLY sister to Athena, Tomlyn's trick cat, a neutered female.
