Black Majyck Woman--Black mare foaled 3/24/2005 by Swinging J's Tiny's Cherokee Chief (King of Choctaws/La Trinidad Santo, she by the Wilbur Cruce stallion Diamond Stud and out of Liberty's Freedom by Corderdero out of Bette'). This nice black mare is lovely and gentle, 7 years old and ready to go to work for you. She has a small scar on her inside left hip but it does not affect her at all. Train her to ride or breed her to your good stallion to produce foals carrying some of the best Choctaw, Cherokee, Wilbur Cruce and Cap Yates blood. This mare is so motherly that she fostered an orphan in 2009. Very people oriented, just needs training. loads, ties, can handle feet, very mannerly mare. $850.

Shine All AroundShine All Around--Really pretty silver dun 7 year old gelding by Northern Song ("Cajun"), he by El Tigre Segundo out of Kiowa Windsong. Shine is out of Layla, she by Locomotion out of Lady Madonna. "Shine" was Layla's first foal and what a great start! He is sweet, gentle, and was started under saddle in 2009 by David Walsh. This lovely fellow just needs a job to do. He's sound, easy to catch, loves people and is ready to go to work right now. If you have been looking for that eye-popping silver dun color plus a smooth ride, this one is the trail horse for you. If anyone here needed a great gelding, "Shine" wouldn't be for sale. $1500. Shine All Around

Don't Mess Around With JimDon't Mess Around With Jim--Jim is a great riding horse and a National American Indian Horse Halter Champion. He will be 12 years old this year. He was foaled Spring 2000 and is by Born To Run (Broom/Mora's Spring Dance, she by Choctaw Sun Dance) and out of Choctaw Candy's Diamond Star Dancer, a Gilbert Jones bred mare. He's an elegant dark bay appaloosa of high % Choctaw breeding. He's sound and ready to go. He has competed in several Indian Horse Shows and has a nice collection of ribbons. Jim needs a rider who enjoys a horse that likes to travel and has time to bond with him and use him. Like many Broom offspring, he has lots of energy but he's safe for an intermediate level rider. No buck, just "go". $1500.

Nice head shot of Jim.

AspenAspen--"Aspen" is a 2011 foal by National Halter Champion Johnny B. Goode (Rowdy Yates/Dainty Bess, she by Broom out of Pie) and out of November Rain, a pure Choctaw mare of straight Gilbert Jones breeding. "Aspen" is a fall foal, born October 2010, so he is a bit behind on size but he'll catch up. Pretty fellow with a very refined head and a super Brislawn on Jones pedigree. This picture was made in early winter 2011 just as he was well "haired up". It doesn't do him justice. Will get new ones as soon as he sheds this spring. You'lll be proud of this one. Great colt for a quite reasonable investment. $500.Aspen

Sedona SunriseSedona Sunrise was foaled spring 2010, so he's a coming 2 year old. He is by Karmalita Farms' National Halter Champion Johnny B. Goode (Rowdy Yates/Dainty Bess, she by Broom out of Pie). He's out of Indian Trinket, a roan mare from the Blazing Saddles Ranch dispersal. Blazing Saddles had NOTHING except real CS Horses, but the original purchaser of "Sid's" dam didn't keep up with the papers and her pedigree has been lost. So Sid's dam side pedigree is unknown except that she was certainly from registered Spanish Mustang stock (and likely by Rattlesnake, one of the stallions her breeder purchased). Sedona Sunrise is eligible for Horse of the Americas and Original Indian Horse papers because it is easy to prove that no non-CS Horses were ever bred at Blazing Saddles Ranch. We can't give you a pedigree on Sid's dam, Indian Trinket, but she's a lovely bay roan that gave this boy his nice roan coat and leggy grace. Sid is gentle, well, halter trained and easy to work with. This will make one head-turning roan gelding, and he's got the build to be a distance horse, too. $500. Chica with her dam Sombera del Sol, a champion mare by Under the Sun (Locomotion/Lady Madonna)Chica--2011 filly by Johnny B. Goode out of Sombera del Sol (Under the Sun/Coon Creek's Painted Teardrop). What a cutie! Chica will need a bit more added to her name before we send in her HOA and Orignal Indian Horse papers but her new owner can help us think of what to add. We know how good Chica's sire Johnny B. Goode is, but her dam's a fine horse, too. "Sombera" won National Youth Frontier Period Costume Champion in her first show for Noah.

Noah Halupa winning Youth Frontier Period Costume Class on Sombera del Sol in 2009. ChicaChica

This a sweet filly that carries the breeding of Karma Farms as well as some of the outcross bloodlines from Baca Chica in New Mexico. Noah Halupa won Sombera del Sol, donated by Baca Chica Farms Horse Conservancy owned by Joty & Virgina Baca of La Costancia, NM, in HOA's essay contest. Noah trained Sombera himself so you can see how easy to work with this filly's dam is. Lots of good Gilbert Jones blood; a granddaughter of Locomotion through his National Broken Color Champion son Under the Sun. "Sun" is out of Lady Madonna, a very high % Ute bred mare. Chica is Sombera's first foal. A steal at $500!
