The rain has finally graced us with its presence, and we watch as green again appears in East Texas. Still have some fine sale horses we need to move to help pay for the priciest winter hay we ever bought. That's GOOD NEWS for everyone else -- because now is the time to buy great Karma Farms horses! We offer horses here that we've never offered for sale before and discounts on horses already offered. Now is the time to buy that real Spanish pony you've always wanted from America's most decorated breeder. E-mail karmafarms@yahoo.com for additional pictures or more information.

Age: Coming 4 in 2013; Gender: Gelding; Sire: Born to Run; Dam: Tiny Dancer

This little gelding goes back not only to Choctaw Sun Dance, but also to Rowdy Yates and Broom! This guy has several siblings and half siblings who have gone on to make great kid and family horses, and many of those have also become National Champions! Best news yet is that he is ready to train under saddle. This guy is "Will"ing to be your child's next champion!

Age: Turned 3 October 2011; Gender: Stallion; Sire: Tambourince Man; Dam: Willow Dance
Folks, this is one we swore up and down we would never sell, but we are still paying for some mighty expensive hay. Born during the very hurricane itself, "Ike" is someone very special. He is one of the few leopard appaloosas in the breed, and those appy spots aren't just leopard shaped -- they're also champagne colored. And Ike happily gaits along quite naturally. That's right: THREE extremely rare genes in one horse. To make the pot a little sweeter, he's also a grandson of Choctaw Sun Dance and Broom. He was three in October 2011. We just started saddling him and he's the most trainable colt you ever met. "Ike" won't be for sale if we get all our hay paid for. We have big plans for this one ourselves. Talk about temperament--"Ike" is one of those that has to follow you everywhere. Great color, great pedigree, and great temperament-- the only people losing anything on this deal is us, hence the higher price. Stallion home ONLY, please.
Price: $2000

Age: Coming 3 in 2013; Gender: Gelding Sire: Born to Run; Dam: Rowdy's Kiamichi Doll
"Tom" is a great looking young dun appaloosa. He's going to be a kid horse deluxe when he gets older, but right now he just needs someone to love him and call him their own. A son of "Barney" (Born to Run), he'll almost surely be an easy one to break out when the time comes. Check out his brother Hey Jude in the Karma Farms Day Camp 4 photo album at Karma Farms in Facebook. "Jude" helped win Brooke's Golden Horseshoe as "Most Improved Rider" at one of our 2011 Karma Farms Day Camps. If you can imagine a 6 year old riding her own 3 year old green-broke gelding on trail with 16 other horses (and with less than 60 days under saddle), you'll have some idea of what this pedigree can do with a young rider.
Price: $750
Age: 3; Gender: Gelding; Sire: Rowdy Yates; Dam: Grand Illusion, she by El Tigre Sugundo out of Mora's Spring Dance by Choctaw Sun Dance.
Look at the 3 great Karma Farms champions close up in this gelding's pedigree! "Strutter" is a frosty-backed red roan. He's easy to catch, halter, and load. He'll make a great using gelding with bloodlines that should excel at distance work and AIHR shows. This boy is bred to RIDE.

Own daughter of Broom, out of an SMR Games Horse of the Year. Her dam "Clay" was by Cayuse Buck, who was a full brother to Jack Slade. Bred to Timber Ghost for a 2012 foal. "Writ" has a big, healthy one in there, and it'll certainly be worth raising since "Writ" is a producer of champions including Nanci Falley's "Unwritten" by Brother Love, 2011 Champion "O" at Halter in the 2-4 Age group!

Here's one of the first foals by Mustang Meadows stallion Amigo by Dakota Blue, a full brother to Rowdy Yates. "Stan's" dam, Tommy's Sundance, is by Tommy Hawk (Trail Blazer/Lily Hawk). The dam of "Sundance" is Satana's Kid by Chief Satanta out of Coyote Kid. Classic Jones and Brislawn bloodlines, there's very little here you won't recognize. Great price on a "doing" colt. Leads, tyies, easy to catch, LOVES people. Need new pics of "Stan", too. He's fat and frisky now and ready to be YOUR horse.
Price: $500

Age: Coming 3 in 2013; Gender: Gelding; Sire: Rowdy Yates; Dam: Red Fern
Here's an own son of the great Rowdy with a super dam side. He shows a lot of his maternal sire, the blue corn appaloosa Dance Magic (Choctaw Sun Dance/Little Corn). "Stranger" will be a kind, "pocket pony" with loud strawberry roan color including a flaming red mane and tail. This fellow will stand about 13' 2" to 14 hands at maturity, big enough for almost anyone, but small enough to make a youth or petite lady a perfectly sized horse. This "Rowdy on Dance" combo has produced so many good ones, and we believe "Stranger" will be no exception. He is Maggie Mae's first foal. Lots of HOA foundation blood here plus the best of Karma Farms breeding.
Price: $650 ($1100 if we green break him and get him ready for you to climb aboard)

Already has champion son by Rowdy Yates and two nice fillies coming up behind him. Will breed to the Karma Farms stallion of your choice in spring 2012 for cost of mare care. Buy this one soon. If we breed her back before we sell her, bet we keep her to get another one like Isis.

Age: 24 in 2012; Gender: Stallion Sire: Jack Slade Dam: Esperanza
This full brother to the famous Rowdy Yates needs little introduction himself. Unlike his brother though, "Jack" is safe for virtually any rider. In 2011 he did American Indian Horse Shows with teenaged Dylan Morgan who, until he met Jack, had never ridden a stallion before. "Jack's" foals are superior: he throws quiet, easy going foals that can go on forever but not spend too much extra energy dancing or looking for "buggers". And, of course, that famous mane that many in Jack Slade's line are known for shows up regularly on Cactus Jack babies. He's healthy as a ...well...horse and still a nice ride at coming 24 years old. Lots of good years left here for producing top CS Horses with any luck. Jack looks like a million bucks right now.
Congratulations to Sid Hawkins of South Carolina on the purchase of "Jack"
